Yesterday, a Program called Basic Life started at my house. It’s not something that you call fun. It feels weird to have people from church came to your house and do things. About 30 people came to my house just to watch a 3 hour Video teach by Dr. Bill Gothard. There was some funny part in the video. This is what it is about:
It started telling you about what is Knowledge and Savvy,
knowledge is to look at thing from gods view and savvy is to understand god.
And it went on about surface problem and surface reason, and Fundamental issue, and Fundamental reason.
Surface problem is like Bad habits, surface reason is like Inferiority. Fundamental issue is like Immoral, and Fundamental reason is not Humility.
And that is only small part of it, if you like it you can go to Basic life.

Today our family made steamed roll, a food most Chinese likes. And this is how we made it:
Things you will need:
Yeast 6 g
Flour 2-3 kg
Sugar 15 g
Water 1 and 1/2 cup
A Large Bowl
A Steamer would be good if you have one, but you can make one by putting a bowl in a pot
That is about it
Step 1
Start by mixing the Yeast and Water than add in Flour and sugar slowly in to the large bowl.
Step 2
Keep kneading until it became smooth, and does not stick to your hand.
Step 3
Leave it in oven or any room with a normal room temperature for 40 mins. It should double its size.
Step 4
Mould it like a small bread, and cook it with the steamer.
Step 5
After the water boils add Steamed Roll in and cook for about 5 – 10 minutes.
Hope you enjoys it. Sorry there is not too many pictures.

Today we had some friends over at our house, and we decide to eat at Rose Thai, a Thai restaurant. The food their is great. I was too busy eating and didn’t take any pictures until the plate is almost empty. You can order food base how much you like spicy. Our family like foods that have been cooked spicy so we ordered that way. The owner of the restaurant Rose talked to us about traditional Thai food how they are very simple and are eaten with hand. The owner had to make some adjustment to Thai food so North American people can like, such as using knife and fork. The owner is very nice and helpful, I just really liked there. While we were eating my friend told me she just wrote a book, it is called The Miseries of Homeschooling. Her name is Grace, and she is homeschooled by her mom right now. I haven’t read it yet, but I will read it soon. By the cover it doesn’t look too bad.
Here is the food we ordered today in the Thai restaurant:

Yesterday was the second last day of the Olympic, and we went to downtown to catch the last bit of it.
We tried to parked our car at the science world, took us 20 min just to find a place. After we got off the car we choose to visit the science world the so call Russian House, since we are so close to it. There is a really big lineup, it will at least take an hour. People said that it is ok, not too good. We heard that there is shorter line for children in a stroller.
On the other side of the science world it is the Olympic Village, it is not open right now. I am going to see it after the Olympic. I heard the house there is expansive. I don’t think it worth it to buy a condos that cost $450,000 to $3.4 million only because a athlete lived in them.
After getting some hot chocolate from a volunteer, we moved on to the Quebec showroom. There is also a big lineup, and the food there a really expansive, it does not really worth the wait. I heard that there is also a French art show. If you don’t understand French, you shouldn’t really go.

Many people are lined up for the Ontario House, there were a 6 min 4d movie, and ?a 3d game. I had enough of 4d movies after Disney World, so I passed. I heard the food there is cheap they are all under $5. There is a show room for Concord Pacific. It is all about houses and apartments, so I think it is about selling houses. GM place is right after that, many people is trying to sell tickets. It is very busy with the hockey games and things.
We heard there is a Canada house and a Manitoba house which we didn’t go. But we went along the Dunsmuir Street, we saw the BC Hydro power Smart Village. There was a small line for curling but it was not fun. You had to answerer a question just to get in line, and the game is so small. We waited in line to go in back of a truck to watch a video, about the power smart team. It gave us a green LED light. The Village open form 10am to 10 pm.
We started to head back after that, we used the Sky train since there was not a big line up. On our way back we stopped at a Tim Hortons to get some food. It opens 24 hours a day right now.
